A Bohemian Haunt

 Here we are, a week down. WOw, that first week went so quick . Q&A Favorite Old School Monster     This is such a hard question to answer because each one had their own charm to it. Each actor was brilliantly cast for the role. I am fond of vampires so Bela Lugosi was an important figure. But in all honesty, the ones that stick out more were in a different category. So if I have to pick one it would be Claude Rains as the Invisible Man.     I chose this because not only am I a fan of H. G. Wells, but also because it's so close to the border of science fiction vs science fact. I majored in science (albeit Environmental Science) but I minored in Biological Science. So the aspect of this movie reminds me very much of the Philadelphia Experiment. The plausibility that something could be rendered mad or in the invisible mans case, psychotic, could be based in science fact. And that is what the psychological thrill is all about.   It's day 2 y'all. Are we ready for more fun?     So here we are in day 2. There is so much that will be going on this month. So why don't we just jump right into the deep end. Q&A Favorite thing about October     Definitely Halloween. I am all for the spooky, creepy, and the dark. I love the whole atmosphere and vibe during October. It's almost like it fuels me. I'm in better moods and I'm a lot more active. Besides, this is the only time that it is socially acceptable to hide skeletons and dead things in your yard. Movie Night Title My Bloody Valentine      This is one of my regular traditional viewing pleasures for not only Halloween, but also, Valentines Day. So, like I mentioned before, I am a huge lover of all things dark and creepy. So something like this being a choice for that isn't all that shocking. Aside from that, I am a huge Supernatural fan. So, yea, Jenson Ackles. And really, is there any down side to that fact. I think not. ...

*Meet Bob's Girlfriend*     Say 'hi', Bob's Girlfriend     She joined the team in 2016 or 2017. She was originally hired to play a cemetery escapee. Which basically means, she got thrown on top of the hedge and I called it a night.      This was good because she didn't have the same level of articulation or realism that Bob does. But she did do her job.  *Fast Forward to 2020* Look who got promoted!     As I decided to expand, I began plotting my new attractions and sections. Bob's girlfriend was able to slide, I mean, get dumped into a new position, which even comes with a makeover. She is scheduled for a hair appointment soon and is already very excited about being able to show off her new look once October kicks into high gear.      So don't miss a minute of the action as this scene unfolds    

 Meet Bob      I never planned to end up with a mascot, it just kinda happened. One of the first things I bought was a skeleton. His name was Bob, well, he just looks like a Bob. *Say 'hi' Bob*     He hangs by a noose at the entry to the front door. He has stayed in this exact location every year since the beginning in 2014.      So, a little about Bob. He's five feet tall and prefers to be called 'skin and bones' even though he does not have skin... Anyhoo, he doesn't ask for much and he always does his job. A couple of years into his employment, he finally had a request. He wanted a girlfriend. We'll get more into her later. The Promotion     Because Bob was such a good employee, I decided that for this new upgraded season, he deserved a promotion. Just not a raise. I mean, come on, what would he spend it on.
